matter that in today's world and in particular state system technology specifically social media,Web,Twitter
Facebook have a great affect. There are many official bankings done over Internet between government and citizen. The writer believes that every person has a
right to use Internet wherever, whenever, however he likes regardless of the fact that who he is on condition that he doesn't damage the others.I totally agree with that and I think that this right can't be or at least shouldn't be prevented by anyone whether he is a stateman, boss, businessman or anyone like/apart from that. But this right hasn't been permitted at the time of "Gezi Protests" according to the author and I partly agree with this point. There isn't enough social permission for them, the protestors. There are oppressive actions from the government. The subject I am not able to agree is that I can't understand the real reasons of the protests.During the protests,There happened bad things for Turkey and I can't appreciate these bad things. There took place harrowing events. This is unacceptable. But I can't admit that people are subject to state attacks such as tear gas and compressed water from police cars.Social media can be and should be used to stand against these attacks. To sum up,I agree with the author most of the things she has mentioned and We are living in a Technology or Space Age.Such things as using Facebook,Twitter,YouTube etc are inevitable and If We want to live a modern, contemporary, democratic, good, fruitful life,We should give as much importance to them as we do towards bread and water. That is the point that I'm trying to say from the start!
