PROBLEM SOLUTION PARAGRAPH 2.DRAFT

Boredom,especially school boredom, is the feeling that occurs among students when they feel themselves different in the borders of school.This feeling damages the student's success and mental,emotional  power.There are some certain solutions/steps that can be applied to decrease and in the end finish this feeling.Firstly, Families should encourage their children to go to school and advise them to be themselves at school,not a different person.Families should give interest to their children.They should not ignore their children who are being under big stress at school.Mothers and Fathers should talk with their children about whether they have difficulty in being social at school.They should do some other things apart from giving money or providing them with the necessary materials regarding school.They should listen to their problems and solve these problems together.The second advice/solution is that school management,teachers should not make students feel disgusted by school.That is, They(teachers) should make students love school and enjoy while there.It is the responsibility of school management.They should not force students only to participate in exams and get high points.Teachers should make students be social and powerful citizens as well as successful individuals.Students aren't racehorses nor are they inhumane creatures.They are as human as teachers,governors,soldiers,doctors,lawyers are.They should be treated like so.The last advice which can be seen impossible for the Turkish Education System now is that abolishing the obligation that students should participate in lessons regularly and every day.Instead of constraining students to sit in the chairs passively the whole day,giving them the choice of coming when they want and not coming when they don't can be more useful for both the students,their families,teachers and for the society.Students may not wish to come to school sometimes.During these times,Families and Teachers should know how to react to them.They should be careful about what to do.Families and Teachers should be understanding.To sum up,minimizing school boredom and its effects on students calls for the responsibilities of families,teachers(school management) and the abolishment of attendance imperative.

Reflection Task 3

Today,we will be determining the man of the year who is to have different qualities and eye-catching abilities.I am one member of the jury that will select the winner.My candidate for this race shall certainly get this award and his name will be written in golden letters on the papers of history,at least in my opinion,I suppose so.His some features are really impressing when you hear some of them you may even pass out yourself.He is an uneducated man from an average family.He is 17.He can speak languages like English,French and Italian.These characteristics are like an ear at a camel.He has been awarded in a motoGP race for being 2nd in the race with the motobike which he has designed himself even its engine and style.He also gets this motobike's patent from The International Patent Union(IPU).He has been nominated as the man who is the most technic.Nevertheless He has not been selected not because He isn't qualified enough but because He is a Muslim and Turk,as well.But I can not see any mistake to say these wrongs here.I believe strongly that this time he will be selected and all world will see the capacity of the Muslim and Turk worlds to participate in a race with The West or the whole world.Anyhow.He has also certain abilities,also.He is interested in science and technology.He is working on a syber war system that will be beneficial for Turkey and the other countries where Muslims and Turks live mostly.He has also the ability of knowing and solving advanced mathematical and physical problems.He is also capable of having information about The Space.He has got many calls from NASA to administer it.He wanted to work there.But a cunning game was played there on him and he was not chosen,again.the reason for this is that because he does not have any oversea experience.Is it really logical to eliminate such a man just due to that explanation.Anyhow,working together and being in co-operation,We will get over such men who are at our jury,against this man and make this man be "man of the year" and we shall give him a chance to be known all around the world.I am relying on you and together We will show the world who is much stronger they or we?

Draft Work

There have been many clear effects/results of the spreading of English on different people all around the world from West to East,from North to South.However,I want to give examples from my own country,Turkey.Firstly English is being spoken by at least half of the world's population either as a mother language or a second foreign language.It is used in negotiations between world's richest and most powerful countries like The USA,UK or Canada.The undeveloped or developing countries are forced to learn English to understand and keep up with the globalisation amongst these countries..In Turkey,because Turkey has not developed enough to supply its needs itself,It has to be in touch with The West.As a result of that,Turkey must give priority to English.We are to  follow the scientific developments of them.However here appears a problem.It is language,mostly English.We should learn it anyhow to get these progresses.Another result of English's rising on my own country is that it has been affecting us both in terms of culture and social life since the last 200 years of The Ottoman Empire..For example,When you  wander in the streets of such cities as Istanbul,Ankara,Izmir or Antalya,you surely come across interesting signboards or shopnames which consist of half English and half Turkish.It is an effect of English's rising in our country.The peoples of these cities.not all of them,though,tend to speak half English half Turkish to make themselves seem to be different.Such as, instead of saying "cay ocagı" some even dare to write "Tea January".And also many people from especially urban areas get dressed in the same way as The Americans or The English do.Our people have changed or are changing their eating,drinking,sleeping,walking,playing,watching habits even sitting just because English has spread and is becoming a world-language.We are watching their films,cartoons and trying to imitate their culture.The last/third consequence of English's being popular is that there are many books,dictionaries,booklets,course packs published in English.Many stationeries have a lot of English-Turkish dictionaries even for an elementary school student.In our education system,English is an obligatory second language.It is another effect.There are many courses,language offices regarding English all over Turkey.We,students of Turkey,are to buy books regarding English to finish our education or be more successful and We have to pay too much money for them.To sum up,English has spread,is spreading and will continue to spread all over the world similar to or different from the way it has spread in my own country(I don't know how it will all over the world)

The video I want to make my subject is really funny.I will write my personal thoughts about this video and this video's main character Sabri Yıldız or "Flying Man Sabri".He is an interesting person and maybe the most interesting person that I have heard so far.In a TV program he was called to attend,He was sitting there and told the amazing stories he had lived.This program was broadcast on Kanal D,the program date 21/03/2009, and this program's presenter was Esra Ceyhan who had very bad feelings on this program.There were some guests on the program.I suppose an Expert or a psychiatrist who wanted to help The Flying Man and find out the psychological problems He was encountering.A famous singer Tarık Mengüç was also the guest of this program.Everything was going well.The presenter,Esra Ceyhan,was asking questions to The Flying Man,Nevertheless She,along with the other people,on the studio did not believe in the claim of Sabri Yıldız that He could fly.He said that He had the ability to stay in the air without any backup like a chair,a chain from the top etc.He said that He had eyewitnesses when He stayed in the air during his travel to Kayseri. The Presenter and The guests were rebelling against this utopia.At that time,Sabri Yıldız who was sitting on the armchair calmly started to move.But this move was a little different that We could think.He jumped suddenly saying"ALLAH" from the armchair and started to roll around himself on the ground.The worst and the most absurd detail I desired to share with you is that These things happened on a live broadcast. Esra Ceyhan could not know how to react.And the guests sitting next to The Flying Man stayed away from him in a few seconds or split-seconds.He rolled on the ground a few tours and standed up as if nothing had happened.By the way,the style Esra Ceyhan reacted at that time was a little comic but certainly acceptable.She didn't know what to do.It was not even dreamed that This man would do such a thing on the live broadcast,But I appreciate this presenter's way of reaction.As for this "Flying Man",He became notorious for not only in Turkey but also in the USA,UK,EU and most of the countries all over the world.This was my analysis on this video.There can be many different viewpoints about this very very interesting video.But mine is so.Thanks for reading this writing:)Here are some photos concerning the matter.

Reflection Task 2-a

The most unforgettable difficulties I have experienced so far in my life may be in technology after winning METU where technologic  knowledge is essential to survive.If It is necessary to explain more,apart from the fact that I have learned from my high school years,I only use Internet,computer to look at my exam results from e-school(in Turkish e-okul).However in METU,using internet,mail accounts,social media or following the last news on the internet are inevitable if you want to be an ordinary person.If you can not follow these ones,You can not be even an ordinary person.To overcome this difficulty,I have to make a tendency to use social media properly or in the way that will be beneficial for our lessons.For example,here I have learned how to open a g-mail or make a blog that will be mine.On that page,I can share whatever I want.I do not know that such a thing exists or I am not interested in whether such a thing exists or not.But We are forced to use such things as blog,METU Online,Horde,Squirrel Mail etc.I have learned the way of getting over that difficulty.The other difficulty that I have faced to date is that I can not make friends with the new people easily or I can not response to them in the same way that They react to me.The reason behind that behavior of mine is that the environmet I have got used  to living is different from the METU. Nevertheless,I believe that I will also solve this problem over time.Another problem is that I can not do enough sport because of my being lazy.In fact I suppose that I can have enough time if I make a proper plan on my life and I can start to do sport.But the reason that I don't do sport is not because I can not find enough time but because another reason that I do not also know exactly.But this problem will be also solved after I get used to the environment of METU and I will find whichever areas I have a interest.These are the new problems I have in my new home,at METU!:)

REFLECTION TASK 1-b

Today I will let you meet with a man from the South America who has not been known much aside from his little country border.His name is Benedicto Nicola Alves.He is from a Spanish family.He has no education even not a primary education.He has learned simple education himself like reading,writing and calculating.He decided to learn different cultures and languages from his childhood.He could not suppress his strong feelings.One day,While his friends were playing football on the beaches of Argentina,He stood under a palm tree and started to think  if he started to swim into the ocean,to where could he swim?.He wanted to try it But His logic prevented him from that,claiming that "Don't be silly,How can you survive in the ocean".Because of such feelings,The dream he was making came into true a little later.He played with his friends but did not forget his dream.One day again,He made a plan to escape from the little village where there was no interesting event,no extra-ordinary adventure.He was to be  the person who solved and broke the passwords of The American National Security Office.He was very interested in computers and programs.He had no computer,though.He used the chief's computer in Chief's free time.From the Internet,He took a step on learning new languages.He started learning English and managed it in a few months because of his IQ level.He was a genius,after all.He learned different Internet cheats and used them for his country.He defended his country against  The USA's cyber weapons.He was like a hero.He prevented his country from being cleaned from the maps.He learned to make co-operation with Russia and China by working with The Argentina Government.He finished his university in China at the University of Beijing in the department of Law.In China,,He learned advanced Chinese.He then was sent to Russia by the Chinese Officials.He was awarded a lot of medals in Russia Because He designed a military program that could stop the attacks from the countries selected.He was under the security of both China and Russia.And also Persia wanted to be a associate of this union.He gave guarantee that Bendedicto can have a Persian citizenship.The point I am trying to say that such a person exists in our globe.But this man can not be known by every one.Maybe after publishing this column of mine,My life can be ended by Persian Spies.But I am a person who thinks that a columnist has a right to write every thing he wants regardless of nothing.I want to mention about tihs man.He seems to be absent in the world Nevertheless,He existed in our world.The most interesting thing is that There is no official information about whose son he was or anything like that.We just know that He was from Argentina.That is the end of my writing.I hope I gonna be alive even after my this column.:)Here is one photograph that belongs to him(I suppose at least)

THE FIRST REFLECTION TASK 1a

The report about myself for my online dating service includes such interesting informations:
     I finished my high school in Niğde at a Anatolian High School whose name is actually "REPUBLIC" meaning "cumhuriyet"in Turkish.I then won METU the faculty of education and English Language Teaching Department.I graduated from this world-wide university with a high mark.Then I decided not to be just a English Teacher in a far part of The Anatolia.I made a decision that I wanna be a professor or anything similar to that.However It isn't so easy as I dreamed of,After failing exams,I have decided to get a job in  a different sector.I know 3 languages apart from English and my mother language,Turkish.They are Spanish,French and Russian.I have the ability of speaking and managing.I can also have sporty properties.For example I am a professional footballer,basketballer and I know how to play games like golf.archery.I also have the ability to play the quitar,violin,piano,saxophones.In these days As a result of having much free time,I have started to join Japanese Language Course and I am determined to learn it,as well. you can see the most interesting specialty of mine.I have also experience to aviate a passenger plane flying from New York to Roma.My this specialty may come to you absurd,but I hope It gonna seperate me from the others. and It would help me find new friends.
From the second photograph I have been taken in the Caribbean Sea during my visit to there.I have also known how to do scuba diving.It was very enjoyable and interesting.I swam there with a dolphin called The Conqueror(Fatih Sultan Mehmet an Ottoman Padishah).I gave this  name to him and I supposed that he liked it much.There are the photographs We have taken with him.As the last sentences of mine,I want to inform you about the fact that I am really a good person filled with jokes and the one who needs to be explored.
